Dartfish:
• Dartfish software is currently not compatible with Apple's OS X. Dartfish develops software that is specifically compatible with Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7.
• However, with Apple's release of their 'Leopard' OS featuring Bootcamp, it is now possible to install Windows XP, Vista or 7 in conjunction with OS X.
• Many of our customers are already successfully using this option and are reporting great results running our software. Please note that at present we do not officially support this method and cannot be held responsible for any driver/operating conflicts.
• Dartfish doesn't fully work on virtual machines, such as "Parallels", due to an unsupported port IEEE 1394 (FireWire). Direct connections with a camcorder are therefore not possible.
• On iMac and MacBook Pro, the IEEE 1394 connection is limited to one port, therefore only one DV camcorder can be connected.
Summary list of compatibility
• Full compatibility with: MacPro for all models installed with Mac OS X Snow Leopard 10.6 and bootcamp.
• Partial compatibility with: iMac 21.5" and iMac 27" with dedicated graphical memory and bootcamp.MacBook Pro 15" and 17" with bootcamp, limited to one DV camcorder connection. Virtual machines, such as "Parallels 4.0 / 5.0", excluding the camcorder connection through the IEEE 1394 port.
• Not compatible with: Dartfish is not compatible with MacBook, MacBook Pro 13", Mac mini, MacBook Air and the virtual machine "VMWare Fusion".

The software will be functional, but if you do not activate it within this time period, than you will not be able to launch it again until it is activated. See below, common instruction for activation process.

FlightScope:
• Make sure your PC is switched on and FlightScope software is running.
• Make sure the FlightScope unit is positioned correctly, 8-12 feet behind the tee and aligned with where the ball will be hit (not the player). The sensor should be as close as possible to the same level as the tee and on a level surface. Use the spirit level on the FlightScope unit and adjustable feet to censure this.
• Got to the “Advanced Menu” and run “Setup Wizard”.
• Set the “Detection Mode” to Indoor or Outdoor accordingly.
• Choose the correct Measurement unit, Metric or Imperial.
• Enter the “Sensor to Tee Surface Height”. This is the height of the surface that the ball will be hit from above the surface on which the FlightScope is placed. If hitting of grass this is likely to be 0 cm and if hitting off an artificial tee mat, 5-10 cm. Use a measuring tape for accurate readings.
• The height of the ball tee used with drivers, can also be specified in the “Tee Height for Drivers” field. This value is used when the club type is specified as Driver. For all other clubs, the tee height is assumed to be zero.
• Now adjust the “Ball Origin”. Select the club you are going to use (driver, iron or wedge) and hit a few shots from the tee position. If the ball and the origins (blue dots) are inside the red circle and grouped close to the center your sensor is set up correctly.
• Final step you must select the players stance (right/left) as well as the units of measurement.
